Insel Richenau


Today's trip was a hike (or, "a comfortable walk") around the monastic island Richenau (lit. "rich valley land"), which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Let's start this out by saying that Bekah and Tim went on a nice, vigorous run on Friday, and then Tim didn't get home from work until 5 a.m. Needless to say, we were both tired. We ended up skipping out early, but we did get some nice photos of the nature (it is a wildlife preserve) and of one of the churches on the island (The church has a lot of really old fresca paintings that were recently re-colored and preserved).
