“Spüle” or, “A Day in the Life of Our Kitchen Sink”

Hello, and welcome to our Kitchen Sink.
Just for comparison's sake, that white mug holds only 1/2 a decent cup of coffee

This morning we made coffee by filling up a pot with water from this faucet. Then, we cleaned our breakfast dishes (a.k.a., all of the dishes we own) in the sink and let them dry on that metal thing. After we were finished, we realized that we had a lot of dirty clothes, so Tim washed some laundry in the sink. And then, because Tim worked so hard cleaning laundry, we were both hungry—so naturally, we had to eat lunch and wash our lunch dishes in the sink. After lunch, we decided to go on a run to the lake, and because it has been so warm lately, of course we brought along some drinking water which came from the sink. While we were running and swimming and sitting out in the sun, I realized that my legs were quite hairy and that my toenails were kinda dirty. So, when we got home, I shaved my legs in the kitchen sink and afterwards gave myself a mini-pedicure. Later tonight, we will have salad for dinner, and due to some semi-recent nation-wide e. coli business, we will be washing all of the veggies in the sink. And after, we will wash our dinner dishes. And then we will tell the sink “Good job today!” before we go to sleep!
